Even though our online calendar always looks full,
there are LOTS of ways to play at
The Talking Stick.
Here is a guide for how to get yourself on the stage:
First and easiest, Open Mic Night happens every Wednesday.
It runs from 7-10. Show
up early to assure yourself a spot (usually two songs or ten minutes).
Beyond that, look at The Talking Stick calendar (www.thetalkingstick.net).
Spots that say “TBA” are generally available for booking.
EMAIL (rather than call)
talksticklive@gmail..com to
inquire about these spots. Fridays and
Saturdays are usually reserved for the larger events.
Not satisfied yet?
A
third way to play is to
contact our Promoters directly.
Most of the music at
the Stick is put together by an awesome mix of creative promoters who
book their shows independently.
Come by their shows or contact them directly about playing:

on the first Friday of every month.

Many more great things are happening continually at The
Talking Stick. Hopefully these

engage this musical community!

PS
We offer a variety
of recording options for music shows.
Right now, we can record most shows with almost no notice.
Board recordings of music performances are available at the cost of
$15 per CD (sets over an hour require additional CDs).
We are hoping we will be able to re-introduce photography and video
recording options soon!
PPS
Because of
licensing issues we have a strict policy of NO COVERS!!!
Covers can only be played if you have either secured copyright
permission from the songwriter OR the song is public domain.
